Turbine housings get very hot. Turbine housings crack.

Kinda like April showers bringing May flowers....in the northern hemisphere anyway.

This one is cracked: normal...or so I assumed. Yes, the crack on the left side is a bit long: to under the wastegate housing. That should have set off the alarm bells. I did not hear them.
