The same day that I sent an email to ElringKlinger AG in Germany to ask for the thickness dimensions for the two Volvo OHC redblock head gaskets, and to inquire about custom thinner head gaskets, I also called Elring of North America to ask about the thickness dimensions for the two stock head gaskets.

I talked to a customer service representative at Elring of North America, and was told that she would have to make inquiries to the technical department to get an answer.

Three days later, the customer service representative called me and gave me the same thickness dimensions shown in the email [above] that I received from ElringKlinger AG a few days later.

I was impressed with the attitude of service, assistance, and follow through that I received from both Elring of North America and ElringKlinger AG. They have good people who care about customers.

....a nice complement to their quality products.
