San Francisco Peaks - Fall 2006

This gallery highlights pictures taken during a trip up to the San Francisco Peaks north of Flagstaff in late September 2006. My folks were visiting on this trip, and we were amazed by how quiet it was in the aspen forest, and how beautiful the scenery was after the first few frosts of the season. An owl even flew silently past us while we were enjoying the alpine beauty, which is fairly rare during the daytime hours.
