Rome

I was blessed to be able to accompany some friends of mine to Europe for a Mediterranean cruise in September 2009. The weather was beautiful and we went to many ports along the 12 day trip. This gallery highlights our time in Rome, Italy. Stops on this trip included the Vatican, Colosseum, Roman Forum, and many cathedrals scattered on almost every block of this ancient city. To walk down roads that the ancient Romans walked, or explore buildings that were built 2000 years ago was certainly an experience I will not forget. I only had my small handheld camera with me on this trip, but hope that you enjoy this gallery.
