This gallery is the last gallery from my trip to Oahu in August 2008. This gallery shows off trips to the east and northern portions of the island, including the Lava Arch at Laie Point which was formed on April 1, 1946, when a tsunami blasted a hole in the middle of finger of rock extending into the ocean. Pictures also include shots taken from our condo on the 13th floor of the beach and night time fireworks display. Additional pictures are from trips to the "Punchbowl", which is the National Memorial Cemetery located inside the remnants of another volcano on the island, and from the Ho'omaluhia Botanical Garden. And of course this gallery also shows off some more awesome sunsets taken along the beach.
