Late Summer 2008

Toward fall every year, fields of yellow wild flowers spring up over much of the Mogollon Rim of northern Arizona. Some of these are in the form of sunflower type plants while others are much smaller yellow flowers that cover fields in mats of hundreds of feet in any direction. The results are obviously breathtaking at times. This gallery highlights a few different trips out into the field during this time of the year.
