This gallery highlights two days of travels in Berlin with the weather going from mostly sunny to cloudy with rain the first day and mostly all clouds and rain the second day. Even with the inclement weather, it still was amazing to see all of these sites. From San Souci, or the Sanssouci Palace in Potsdam and its amazing grounds, to the Zitadelle (an ancient fortress in Spandau), to the Olympic Stadium where Jesse Owens amazed the world and shocked Hitler in 1936, to the bombed ruins of the Kaiser-Wilhelm Church, and finally to Treptower Park's Soviet War Memorial which stands in memory of the 300,000 casualities on the Soviet side of the War and served as a central war monument of the Soviet takeover of Berlin.
