These guys usually prefer to eat on the ground, but they have accepted my new squirrel-proof feeder. There are 4 males and 3 females, all I think, from the same family group that hatched this summer. Because food is abundant and the males are not quite mature, they are not yet fighting for territory. It is unusual to see groups of Cardinals here, but it is great to see seven of them arrive at the feeder together.
