Canada Goose Nesting

It is unfortunate, but these birds have become a pest. There are far too many of them in the Toronto area, and being large and aggressive, they out-compete many other species for food and nesting space. The yellow ribbon means that the eggs in this nest have been oiled. They will never hatch. If you just take the eggs from the nest, the goose will just lay more.
