It's so hard to get nice detail from long ones. I'm already looking, thinking and just plain debating what I'll be getting even tho' it's still three down the list. I'm thinking the 70-200 L, with a teleconverter since I'm not in an area where I'll be shooting many birds. Wish I were tho', maybe one day. Glad you're having such good luck, and sharing them with us. Thanks!

Man, Tom... You've out done yourself on this. I'm amazed at how crisp this Tamron is compared to the older version. About as good as it gets, nice work.
