Looong shot, Just out of camera range

She was recovered from a remote mountainous area of Alaska where it had crashed on 16 Feb 1944, killing the pilot Lt. Edward W. Getter.
After extensive restoration, Polar Bear flew again in 1985 for the first time since the 1944 crash.
