Their P-63 Aircobra had a midair collision with their B-17 Flying Fortress at the Veteran's Day air show "Wings over Dallas", neither aircraft survived and all 6 CAF members died

It was a sad day indeed. I got to ride on the thunderbird b17. That crew was so committed to that plane and I know the Texas Raider crew was just as committed. RIP prayers to the CAF and their families.
