After 25 years of consumer digital images & computer optimised lenses, the chemical recording of light and the 3 element poorly corrected lenses with little coating technology of the 1940s really shows how much image quality has advanced for hand carry cameras. I will have to go to Katoomba to see if this sign is still in use. V!
