Bear viewing is perhaps the most exciting venture one can undertake! Photos in the first gallery "Wild Alaska Bears" are -- of course -- wild bears. The rest in this gallery were of animals behind fences -- either at the Alaska Wildlife Conservation Center (near Portage, Alaska) or the Alaska Zoo in Anchorage.
