Pictures in this gallery were taken at Ian & Jenny Gamble's Bushy Point Fernbirds ( http://www.fernbirds.co.nz ) while I was waiting for the next flight to Stewart Island. Thanks for the gentleman at Stewart Island Flight's front desk (later I found out he was also a pilot) who recommended me this place. And many thanks to Jenny who came pick me up in the airport within 15 minutes! (Sorry for interrupting your grocery shopping.) We birded about 2 hours and saw total 5 fernbirds, plus fantail, tui, bellbird, silvereye, and marsh hawk. Every one of them was lifer for me.
