Fall 2007: four VirginiaOpossums have been eating the leftover sunflower seeds we put out for the squirrels.
They can be distinguished by the overall fur color (G=Gray, B=Black), and the amount of black at the base of their tail (P=Pink, B=Black).
Spring 2008: Two opossums have been seen, again. Based on ear patterns, the smaller, more energetic one is GP from last year.
The larger one, with the chewed tail and chewed ears, is impossible to identify, although perhaps it is BB.
