I like and own the Canon 8400F. It's about $ 287 with taxes @ FS. Consumer Reports also listed it highly but it recommended the Lid80 as a best buy.

I have the lab scan the negatives for me at the time of development. But I am looking to invest in a good scanner and start doing this myself. Thanks for stopping by and your comments! Cheers,

Your photos are excellent! I have the same camera and love the results. Do you digitize your images from the negatives or do you use a scanner?
