I really like this picture, especially now that there's only an empty lot. When I first moved to Toronto, Sam's was just the storefront, second to the right (the corner was a bank), the one Sam the Record Man all in script. This brings back a lot of memories. Sam was such a decent man too. He knew and appreciated that a lot of his customers were kids, but treated all his customers well. That is, there were no questions asked when people brought back defective pressings, which the Canadian record pressers seemed to churn out more than elsewhere.
