Lovely model, well placed in the frame, and the soft lighting is just right. What you have attempted is tough because the lavender needs to be in focus. I don't know what lens you used, but if you set the lavender in a stand or table in front of the model (you'll have to experiment to determine how far) and use a telephoto, the depth of field at f8 is much shallower than when using a "normal" lens. It will require some experimenting (which your gallery shows you are not at all timid about doing), but hopefully this info may help. I'd love to see the final result.
