For some reason the March was slower this year.
Some poor gentlemen had to leave because the waiting just got too much. (over 2 hours later than they were told)
This digger was able to find a spot to rest out of the rain.

Wonderfully evocative image. It says volumes, makes one truly thankful for their sacrifices. Beautiful work.

This is a wonderful shot, Sue, with a complex mixture of emotions-- something vaguely comic in the posture, tragic in the face, and (faded) majesty in the dress. All that and great moody lighting and colour palette to boot! All around a provocative image... V.

Looks like the weight of the world is bearing down on this worldly gentleman... Very sad and a very powerful photo!

Fantastic! The treatment is so great. His expression is mysterious....i would like to know what is was thinking. V

There is such a weariness on his face and posture. The weight of history - symbolized by the medals maybe. Colors and light are also perfect.

I love this photo! there is such a sense of sadness in that expression.. Like he is remembering something that changed his life. Very well processed too, Sue.
