I traveled to the deserts of Northern New Mexico to participate in a nature photography workshop. The workshop, "A Natural Eye", was led by Eddie Soloway, a gifted photographer and excellent teacher. The setting was the painted badlands around Ghost Ranch, New Mexico - a land of subtle and impressive beauty that has inspired such artists as O'Keefe, Adams, Porter and Strand. The photographs do justice to neither the instructor nor the setting.
