Took a long-ish bus ride from Brasov to Suceava to see the famous painted monasteries. And they are quite impressive, I have to say. I had, again, terrible weather. Of course, the day I left, as I sat at the bus stand ready to go to Moldova, it cleared up to what was I'm sure a beautiful day. The monasteries are amazing. You can see them all in one day. It's a long day, but worth it.
