Two very interesting places a couple hours from Baroda. Pretty interesting, but difficult to get to, and not many accommodation options. Actually: only one accommodation option, as far as I could tell. The Hotel Champaner. The ruins of Champaner are badly signed and there seemed to actually be no one in charge, though you do have to pay 250rs to see them all. I think I managed to stumble upon to two or three major sites, but only by accident. The temples of Pavagadh are nice and the atmosphere is also pretty fun. Very little English being spoken, so that's nice, but also makes for some difficulties.
