North America, 2006

Well, so I went home for the summer. Home being the United States of America. After so many years of wandering aroud the developing world, it was odd to wake up and not be filled with worries about bus schedules, touts, toilets, food, visas, and all the rest.

I went to New York for two days, then chicago for two months and then Montreal for two days and then Vermont for two more days. Somewhere in the middle I flew down to Mexico City. It was during the world cup, before Mexico was eliminated, so it was a good time to be down there. Anyway, I'm back in Dubai but I leave for Pakistan's North West Frontier Province on Thursday. Plan to get some good photos in Peshawar and up in the Hindu Kush. I'm too lazy to put these pics in any kind of order. Sorry.
