Kathmandu

Well, so I'm not sure what to say about Kathmandu. So maybe I should say nothing? We were there for maybe 30 hours. In Thamel, God help us. A horrible backpacker ghetto selling North Face knock offs, dope, and 800,000 masks. It was not nice. But this is like 1 percent of one percent of the city, so I will just say that I liked the Monkey Temple and Durbar Square. Other than that, khallas. So in this gallery, I've put Thamel (the backpacker ghetto), Durbar Square, Bodhinath, the very famous stupa outside Kathmandu (which has essentially been turned into an amusement park/souq), and a bit of a fairly nice but annoyingly tout-infested Hindu temple out by the airport.
