Eyelight Fish (Photoblepharon palpebratum)

Eyelight fish hide in reef caves by day and emerge at night to feed. They use their bioluminescent organs (filled with the bacterium Vibrio fischeri) to communicate with each other, illuminate prey, and confuse predators.
