June 3

I don't know how or why I let myself be talked into shooting a wedding.
It became obvious to me immediately that I was in waaaaaaay over my head.
I have a whole new respect and appreciation for the skill that goes into
photographing a wedding from top to bottom. The worst rookie mistake, was
accidentally deleting all of the images from one of my memory cards.
Thankfully, I have image rescue software... now if I can just figure
out how to use it! Hopefully, I was able to stumble onto at least a few
pleasing compositions for the family, but whew! What a day!

They all seem very comfortable in front of your camera - you've captured five totally different expressions on their faces.

A fun and well-exposed shot Terri, weddings certainly are a different thing all together, due to all the expectations from the people your shooting for.

It's an informal shot with lovely light and nice skin tone. Is that the best man pulling a pose? The eye contact makes it interesting with a nice friendly atmosphere. I like it ...Well done!

Hi Terri,

Oh yeah....been doing weddings for a while. I enjoy them but I always worry that they won't be liked by the family. So far so good...this is such a cute shot! I think you did well! That is why you charge a lot...it is a lot of work!

This is a great shot, Terri. Whatever you do, find a way to get someone else to take wedding photos. I have one scheduled for next weekend, and I'd do anything to get someone else to do them. Good luck on recovering your shots.

I don't like shooting parties at all. I shot one wedding reception and hated every minute. This is a cute shot, though.
Guest 04-Jun-2007 15:03
I've been asked a couple times to do weddings as well... the only sound you hear after the request is that of my feet running away very quickly.
Guest 04-Jun-2007 14:52
cute shot, the bride will be jealous.
