iSimangaliso Wetlands, St. Lucia

iSimangaliso (meaning "beauty and wonder") Wetland Park became South Africa's first World Heritage Site in 1999. It contains the largest estuary in Africa, has significant populations of hippo and Nile crocodile, has 25,000 year old dunes, and is absolutely spectacular!
