Dec. 5, 2004 - The cook takes a break

Ann Arbor, Mich.

The night cook at the Fleetwood Diner talks to customers during a quick break. The diner, located on
Ashley Street at Liberty, on the west side of downtown, is a famous (or maybe infamous) spot in Ann Arbor,
where you can get a hearty midnight breakfast after a night on the town while mingling with a pretty
interesting clientele.

I like the way the two windows divide the story.
The reflected lights on the exterior metal give the sense that the world is carrying on beyond those four walls ... great 'slice of life'

Very nice... I also enjoy this sort of "peeking in" shot. They always make me look a bit longer. Your Ann Arbor Gallery is really interesting.... makes me want to go spend an evening there.
