We stayed in Panama City our first night and birded SE of there the next day. On Thursday, we made our way to Seth and Angela's place in the afternoon and got a tour. Mary immediately noticed the bird art on the wall.

They gave the old folks a ground floor room with attached screened porch and swing with a view of the pool.

I was quick to get comfortable on the big swing.

Angela entertained Alexa, Bryce's daughter, with a game. Or was it the other way around?

Owen and Josh had started a jigsaw puzzle and Steve could not resist joining them.

Seth started work in the kitchen.

Friday morning some of the kids got out early (8:25AM) to play in the pool.

Seth arranged for some of the guys to go fishing in two boats. Bryce, Owen and Josh rode in one. Seth, Max and Steve went in the second one. After loading up, the two boats headed off in different directions for most of the afternoon, though paths did cross once.

While some of the guys were out on the water, the rest of the crew took some time on the beautiful white beach.

After returning with their less than stellar catch, the fishing crew had a (purchased) fish snack at a place on the pier: Max, Bryce, Seth, Owen, Josh and Steve.

Saturday was another day at the beach. Mary caught Bryce taking photos of Alexa and Xander playing in the surf.

In the afternoon, Steve and Mary hiked around nearby Camp Helen State Park and found a beehive in a tree; Steve got a close-up photo.

In the afternoon, the kids made quick work of this 300-piece puzzle (a few addicted adults may have lent a hand).

The company from which Seth and Angela bought the beach house arranged a special, in-home, chef-prepared meal for us all Saturday night; this was the elaborate menu.

Jenny and Josh were the first to settle in for dinner as the chefs worked in the kitchen.

We must have been too busy eating the delicious multiple courses to take any other food photos.

The kids got to eat outside by the pool and got their own special menu.

After dinner, the company also arranged chairs and a fire for us on the beach.

Mary and Steve enjoyed the ambience.

On Sunday, Easter morning, the parents prepared gift packages for each of the kids.

Angela planned an Easter egg hunt for the kids. Adults hid the eggs around the yard while the kids waited outside the gate.

It was wisely decided to let the youngest start the search first, so Xander was the first through the gate.

Next came Alexa and Carson.

For the evening meal, Seth and Angela arranged for dining out at the Thirty-A restaurant, named for the coastal highway it sits on.

Back at the house, Angela provided the evening's entertainment. Continuing the egg theme of the day, everyone tried bouncing a ping pong ball into a baking tray to win a prize-filled egg.
