Heterogomphus schoenherri
a member of Rhinoceros Beetles Subfamily Dynastinae

I think all these big beetles were upside down when I found them. The first looked like it might have fallen off an edge of the porch. This one was out in the parking lot and I wonder if someone just kicked it over as they walked by. They all moved on when I righted them.
