Mud Dauber Wasp along the shore at Lake Hefner, OK; BD: Thread-waisted Wasp, Ammophila sp., probably A. procera. Note long abdominal petiole, silver streaks on side of thorax, red abdomen with
black tip, darkish wings, http://bugguide.net/node/view/11119. This and at
least a couple of other Ammophila species are common in our area.
