We had read in "A Photographic Guide to the Birds of Hawai'i" that the Big Island Country Club was a good birding spot, so we drove there on the road from Waimea to Kailua-Kona. Near the entrance, but out on the highway, we saw 4-5 Wild Turkeys making their way along the side of the road.
