Next we were taken to one of two ponds the local guide said they keep filled for waterfowl--this area of Florida has been in a drought and most water is directed into Lake Apopka. We saw a wide variety of birds here, including these Blue-Winged Teal, American Wigeons, Common Gallinules and Ring-Necked Ducks.
