Oklahoma City Audubon Society field trip group looking for Short-eared Owls
in the field north of the Hackberry Flat Wildlife Management Area Center

We met at Hackberry Flat WMA Center about 10AM. When we walked into the field north of the parking lot, we immediately stirred up 8 or more Short-eared Owls. I was late to get a photo, so it's a distant shot.

We went to a nearby granary where Jimmy Woodard and Lou Truex stirred up two barn owls.
