Costa Rica, Day 9, April 23, 2018

On Monday, Day 9 of our Costa Rica trip, we birded around Hotel Villa Lapas before breakfast, got the bus loaded, then ate and took off for Savegre. Along the way, we stopped for lunch at Soda La Vuelta, where we also did some birding; at the sewage treatment facility in San Isidro; at La Georgina; and near the Cerro Buenavista communication towers in Los Quetzales National Park, before arriving at our lodge at Savegre.
We started our day with an early walk in the lush green of the grounds of Hotel Villa Lapas.
