We went to Costa Rica with a group from OK and AR led by Drs Kannan Ragupathy and Kim Smith. We flew into San Jose, where we stayed at Hotel La Rosa de America, went to the Organization for Tropical Studies at La Selva, the Arenal Observatory Lodge, Cerro Lodge, La Savegre Lodge, then back to San Jose to the Best Western Irazu near the airport for our last night. There were 24 in our group, including our driver, guide and leaders. We saw over 300 species in our 8 days.
