DSC_7462b.jpgTrip Day 3, Guided Day 1 (Wed, 3/29): We got up early Wednesday morning, got to the airport and took a twin-engine Cessna to the Osa Peninsula. There we got in two (cramped) mini-SUVs and were taken to the boat that took us to Drake Bay resort. After settling in, we took our first bird walk of the day, led by Erick Guzmán.

There was a line of lights over a salt water pool near the beach and a pair of kingbirds, likely nesting nearby, were constantly seen perching there. |

This was one of the most plentiful birds we saw along beaches and river edges. |
