Propex install in Rocky Mountain Westy Storage Box
Installed in May 2013, finally uploaded the pictures.
checking the fit of the Rocky Mountain Storage Box
corner part of false floor that went up against slider door pillar needed corner trimming on leg (angle cut on bottom)
Rough cut to shorten air inlet that came with the Propex unit
air inlet cleaned with file then covered with nylon screening to keep stuff from getting sucked in
Propex intake also covered with nylon screening to keep crud out.
control cable from thermostat running out of door pillar, door pillar to propex box sealed up with strapping tape.
upper view of propex installed, false floor not installed - it just drops in and protects the propex.
Here it is installed! Powered subwoofer velcroed on top of it - only weighs about 5 pounds and is easily removed.
propex burner outlet under camper, and you can see second propane tank installed under passenger slider door.
Thermostat mounted to door pillar - the thermostat wire goes inside pillar - the wire you see is for my ham radio antenna
perfect place for a fire extingusher with easy outside access
