Here's where a lot of the details show up...underneath the walkways. The trucks should be fairly straightforward; as of this writing, I've added the traction motors, and plan on adding sander lines/brackets (DW), brake cylinder lines (.012" p-b wire), and a speed recorder (DA or DW...haven't decided yet). For a neat article on how installing traction motors on an HT-C truck was done "back in the day", see the November 1992 Mainline Modeler article by Mike Hopkin titled "Traction Motors: The Ultimate Truck Detail". The article also has a neat prototype photo of a red traction motor case installed on an SP T-2.
The rest of the underframe will be more complex, with plenty of parts from Cannon, Railflyer (traction motor cable brackets), Evergreen, and some scratchbuilt bits. Lots of work ahead, but progress is being made.
