We rolled in around 2 Saturday Afternoon, I imedietly set up camp near a plug-in so I could at least run a fan (being a Monsterbash veteran, I know how hot it can get) The cheapo tent thing I bought at Big Lots went up in 10 seconds flat, whereas the 79 dollar canopy I bought at WalMart was fucked from get-go, following direction to a T, it was lopsided and somewhat reminisent of the shacks I've seen Sally Struthers walk past in those comercials that play at 3am eith the flys landing on the starving kids faces, we tried 5 different ways of putting the damn thing up, while I had one of my models saying everytime "Thats not right""It looks lopsided" Kat and Joe-man knew better, as I have come close to doing stints at Reidsville for folks saying shit that doesn't help when I am fucking with something thats not working as it should so Kat hauled the model off as I was getting the murderous look in my eye. Our neighbor was kind enough to try and help which kept me calm to a point, but even he couldn't make the damn thing look right so I grabbed duct tape and bent the fucking thing to what I needed and taped it the best way I could. I think I said something about stabbing someone (no one in particular, just pissed at the tent) so he suddenly felt the need to move to another part of the parkinglot, far away from us. With the tents up (somewhat) I hit the stage and shot bands I liked and tried to not overheat in the sun. I shot the model (Miss Offeres Nothing to Help just points out the obvious) but I was in a sour mood from the heat and tent fiasco, so I drank and "imbibed" other fun stuff until I had a good mood going
