Some of my chums have used this title before, but I think it suits this image and the serenity of the scene.

Mute Swan portrait - really this one is straight out of the camera with no cropping and only basic adjustments and sharpening. The light was lovely and I like the composition.

Smew - male I think - juvenile or eclipse adult in moult to breeding plumage (I think).

Smew - I think this is a male, either in eclipse moulting from eclipse to breeding plumage (Collins bird guide say Oct so not sure about this) or a juvenile changing to adult plumage.
