This little Robin was determined to cheer up the gloomy weather by singing his little head off!

Jackdaws are one of my favourite birds to watch but I don't often photograph them. I love their intelligence and sometime comedic human mimicry as they appear to be thinking about how to solve a problem; usually involving food!

Well hello there! This Jackdaw certainly had a bit of swagger!

Jackdaw portrait - such an intense stare! Whatever I did (or didn't do) with the camera settings, the bird does appear rather light. Having said that, I love the contrast the blown out background and colours.
