Bosque is truly one of the most wonderful places where I've been shooting wildlife photos.

This image was captured the week before Christmas on a morning when it was 7 degrees. The ponds had frozen over and as the sunrise developed over the mountains, the ice glowed as if it were on fire.
The cloud formation was spectacular and for perhaps two minutes, the clouds lit beautifully. This is one of the most spectacular sunrises which I've had the opportunity to witness and photograph.
