I'm sorry, Ceya, to have made you wonder. The only connection between the Canna lily and the tower are that they are both elements in the photo. I'm trying to learn more about using the differences in various depths of field. (This shot was taken at F-stop 5.6.) I liked this shot the best of the several I took because the left side of the leaf and the roof of the steeple lined up. The ascending diagonal appealed to me. Since it was a very grey day, there were no clouds to break up the sky. I felt that the composition had to carry the image.
