Fire Faces

As wood chars, strange shapes and grooves appear. This
is the decorative molding of an interior doorway after
a house fire. As I worked on the photo, I began to make
out several odd faces in the charcoal surface.

Interesting charcoal characters. I really like the face with sunglasses and lipstick on the upper right.
