When my daughters were little girls, I used to love
to buy them shoes. These zippy raspberry numbers,
with their smart velcro snaps and pink appliques
evoked such longing for those days.

I remember that brand as the ONLY ones my ex would buy for our kids. Makes me wonder if it was all in the advertising of that brand. I wish I'd invented velcro. You just can't get away from it.

My little Kelly liked the pink with white trimmings. Yes, a flood of warm feelings when I see these. Simpler times.
