"DRU" stands for Diepenbrock & Reigers of Ulft. It
was founded in 1754 when Dutch farmers discovered
how rich in iron ore the soil was in their fields.
Initially, the ore was used to make pewter, but was
later used for iron based products. Today the company
has relocated to Arhem and manufactures gas-fired stoves.
