Whistler Blackcomb

Had a wonderful 4 days of skiing and decided to take the 5th out with the camera. Grabbed the DSLR, the 85mm 1.8 (This is a great lens BTW), the tripod, cable release, spare battery and went skiing. Got caught on a couple of blacks and that is interesting with all the equipment:-)

Great gallery Steven, I know it can be pain taking a camera on the slopes. I wish I had got some panoramic shots like yours. I like your borders as well, well done.

This is one of those composition that just jumped out as I was skiing by. It said TAKE ME TAKE ME... There was the tripod setup (it is a 5 image stitch), the leveling, the framing and freezing my fingers off, but I like the end results. It looks nice printed 20X40.

whistling above the clouds is my favourite. Good composition. Very good exposure with details in the shadow and highlight not blown out. Very good job.

That is my favorite of the bunch. The use of the forground trees really plays a big part in this one I think.

Steve, These came out great. I really like whistling above the clouds. Your eye really draws me into the rest of the pictue and I enjoyed seeing your trip from a bird's eye view.
