While driving from California to Oregon, we passed this lake and since we could not find the Dunes we decided to stop and shoot the lake. The water was like glass at first and there was a line of fisher people wanting out photography to be over real fast like so they could get their boat on the water. By the time we were setup, a small amount of wind had started to disrupte the water a small amount but the reflection was still great. Visually, the tree across the lake was much more pronouned than how it captured. I am still working on why???

There was another shot using a beautiful twisted old log in the water that I took that simply did not turn out right. Paul Gill took a similar shot that looked simply stunning on the ground glass of his view camera. I am anxious to see it.
